The AI-Ready VA Course

Learn to set up and run AI for the businesses you support, then prove it with a certification clients can see.

Your clients know AI could save them hours a week. Most don't have the time to work out how, and they don't want a stranger touching their inbox and customers. You already know their business. This course teaches you to find the work AI should take over, build workflows that run every week, keep client data safe, and sell all of it as a service priced on what it saves.

The eight modules

  1. 01

    From assistant to AI operator

What's changing in VA work, the three levels of AI service, and why clients pay more for the person who runs their AI.

  2. 02

    AI foundations for VAs

Claude, ChatGPT and the AI in your clients' tools. Whose account to use, how to write requests that work, projects, connectors and scheduled tasks.

  3. 03

    Working safely with client data

What never goes in, the five account settings to check, a written AI use agreement, and what to do when something goes wrong.

  4. 04

    Find the AI opportunities

A one-hour audit: list the tasks, score them, interview the person who does the work, and put a dollar figure on each one.

  5. 05

Build workflows that run every week

The six-part workflow recipe and eight ready-to-build workflows: inbox triage, meetings, SOPs, content, support, bookkeeping prep, research and reports.

  6. 06

    Document, hand off and maintain

Workflow cards, SOPs, the change log, the monthly maintenance check and the monthly AI report that keeps retainers.

  7. 07

    Package, price and sell

Three offers (audit, setup sprint, monthly retainer), value-based pricing, scripts for the clients you already have, and answers to common objections.

  8. 08

    Final project and certification

Build one real workflow, measure it and write the case study. Pass the assessment and the project review to earn your certificate and badge.

What you'll walk away with

Everything you need to sell your first AI project.

The course

Eight written modules you can finish in two to three weeks at a few hours a week, each with a hands-on exercise using your own client work.

The templates pack

AI use agreement, client data rules, audit form, workflow card, SOP, change log, monthly report, services menu, proposal, pitch scripts, case study and 40 prompts.

The toolkit spreadsheet

Scores every task, works out hours and dollars saved, and turns that into a setup fee and retainer that cover your time.

Example from Module 7

Price on what it saves, not on your hours.

The math

Three workflows save a client 18 hours a month. At $50 an hour for the people doing that work now, that's $900 a month in value. A setup sprint at 1.5 months of value is about $1,350, and a retainer at 25% is about $225 a month. The client still keeps about $650 a month.

The pitch

“While working on your [area] I spotted a few places where AI could save you real time. Would you be open to a short AI audit? I'd map where the time goes and show you the top three things worth automating, with what each would save.”

The certification

A badge that's earned, not bought.

To get certified, you build one real AI workflow for a client or practice business, test it, measure the savings and write a short case study. You pass a 15-question assessment, and I review your project personally.

  • A certificate with your name and certificate number
  • The AI-Ready VA badge for your website, LinkedIn and proposals
  • Specific feedback if your project needs work, and unlimited resubmissions

Questions

Before you enroll

Do I need to be good with technology?

No. Module 2 starts from the basics. If you can use email, Google Docs and a spreadsheet, you can do this course.

Which AI tool do I need?

Claude or ChatGPT. A paid plan (about $20 a month) is best for the workflows in Module 5. Everything also applies to the AI built into Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace if your clients use those.

I don't have clients yet. Can I still take it?

Yes. You can do the exercises and the final project with a realistic practice business. Module 7 then shows you how to turn it into your first paid offer.

Is it video or written?

Written: a course workbook, templates and a spreadsheet, so you can work at your own pace and keep everything as a reference.

How long does certification take?

Most people finish the course in two to three weeks. Project reviews come back within about seven business days.

Is the certification accredited?

It's a VirtualExpert.net certification based on a reviewed project, not a government or university accreditation. What it shows clients is that you've done the work: a real workflow, tested, measured and documented.
